The sun closed its eyes, blackened the skies. The winds came and brought down the rains. We headed for the high ground but some stayed behind, and the braced themselves till it came. The sirens stayed on till the power went down, then we lost all sight of the day. And the water was rising and stealing the ground, till it took everything in its way. The storm finally passed and we tried to head back, but the streets where we lived were erased. And scattered were the memories of moments in time, that the waters and sands reclaimed. The sun closed its eyes and brought down the skies, and we'd never again be the same. We headed for the high ground but some stayed behind, and they lost themselves in the waves.

(You have to take them, you will eventually. Just do it now, that's it, there you go, and swallow) Tell me what you stand for and I'll show you how to fall. Let me walk beside you and I'll lead you to the wall. Give me all your will and I will show you that you're small. Show me all your power, and I'll show you you've got none at all. Let me know your fears and I will bring you to your knee, break the back and balls of all you hoped that you would be. Let me get inside and I will take you down with ease. We'll turn tomorrow into yesterday to kill the pain and sleep. You didn't read the fine print as you opened up the vile, and swallowed down the pill that only took away your smile. You say you don't feel any pain anymore, you've closed up all your windows and you've locked down all your doors.

Images 03:59
Captured an image of yesterdays dream, and the days he once held in the palm of his hands. He sits by the window and closes his eyes, and his smile fades away with the light in the sky. Haunted by memories of what used to be, when the days last forever and your hopes set you free. Where the the road was unblemished and a phone call was a dime, but you didn't have the change, and you couldn't find the time. Would another day make it any better, if we could release those years. Choices you made only darkened your eyes, as you worked all your days trying to capture the prize. Now you wake up and find that you've lost too much time, holding on to the image of you in your prime. Would another day make it any better, just one more to ease the pain.

By the look in your eyes, I can see you've lost your way. By the look in your eyes, I'm just an unfamiliar face. By the look in you eyes, no memory served and no disgrace. Wasting away, behind those clear eyes, silently stealing the moments you've prized. Emotion undetected, you stare at the sun, but you can't remember why you decided to come, and your wasting ( wasting inside and we can't seem to find you) You guarded all your secrets, you gave up on love, but you still wear your pain of the past like a glove. The memories you once had are all now but lost, and you live in a place in your head at what cost and your wasting ( wasting away) And I don't know what to do. Well I turn a blind eye, when I'm holding your hand, cause it's harder to watch then to understand. And I talk about tomorrow and of all of the plans, but my words fall away just like water in the sand, and you're wasting ( wasting away) And there's nothing I can do. By the look in your eyes, you know I'll be here by your side. By the look in your eyes, I see there's no one left inside.

The Reveal 05:10
Through the night, we crossed the field. We tried to follow the path of light, searching for the reveal. And the headstrong men refused to go, while they stand and argue toe to toe. And the young ones climbed to the mountain tops, while the elders stare in disbelief. And the missing links that were concealed, by the men that held their secrets close, were all at once revealed. With their powers gone they shook in fear, and were brought sown to their knees. As the burning lights that shined from high, came closer through the trees. All the questions left unanswered, while they whisper inside of your ear. Filling your eyes, leaving you blind, till you can't see the truth through the shadow disguise. Burning inside, waiting to find , you reach to touch the truth and see. What they told you to fear when they told you to run, was the truth in the lights, that the others had come. Stepping through time, giving a sign, to show us what we have become.

Take this message to my brother before I die. I raised my right hand to my forehead and closed my eyes. There is no shame in doing what you don't understand, but once the mark hits your skin, it's too late to take a stand. We've got enough food and rifles to last us about a year. We may not be able to make it through, but we'll make them pay for it while we're here. It's better to b urn in glory than to be frozen by your fear. Well you better get up and fight for what's right, cause you know the end is near. The cloud's upon now and it's getting harder to breathe, the veils are lifting and I don't like what I see. So raise your right hand to your forehead and kill the lie. It's better to close your eyes than to take part in the one world prize. We've got enough food and rifles to last us about a year. we may not be able to see it through but we'll make them pay for it while we're here. It's better to burn in glory than to be cut down by your fear. So you better get up and fight for what's right, cause you know the time is here. Take this message to my brother don't be sad. I did the best that I could do with what I had.

Seems to Me 04:52
I cast a stone upon the waters of my mind. Asking all the oldest questions, can we never get beyond this place in time. And though we try to make the best of what we've learned, giving way to misdirection, and the games we play to occupy our lives. It's time for us and all to see, the way things are supposed to be. Seems to me, we can all have what we need, but only once the fear is gone. We can be, all we ever want to be, the journey only makes you strong. And we never take the time to realize, the sacrifices those who came before us carried in our name. But there's still time to remember, and the choice we make to change our path along the way. Only we can try to live our lives another way. Seems to me, we can all have what we need, but only once the fear is gone. We can be all we ever want to be, the journey only makes you strong.

I've got nowhere to hide, like a hole in a pocket, my fear and pride have been, 20 years sleeping on a sidewalk, torn jacket with a bottle tucked inside. Crack hardened whiskey sober, I'm just a concrete soldier, everyone stares as they pass you by, but nobody ever looks you in the eye. I've been too long without direction, just another soul in question. Bounced to the left, bounced to the right, everybody's your friend till the dark of night. So hold up the mirror and what do you see, I'm a man like you who had the means. Thanks for the dollar, I wish you well. I'll think about you tonight when I go to sleep in hell!
9.
The moment you open up your eyes, somebody fills them full of lies. What do you think you're fighting for, there's enough dirt here to bury us all. You say we're created equal, but some are stronger. Your faith is the price you pay, while I live longer. Let's kill each other and we'll stand together in hell. Don't know what we're fighting for, but it's time to settle a score. You say that the truth has gotten a little colder. The fear of a billion people is on your shoulder. Let's push the button and we'll dance like angels in hell. Together we can rise and fall, there's enough dirt here to bury us all.

Faint Signal 03:51
There's nowhere to run, it's too late to hide. The signal was strong and they've broken inside. They told you what to think, they've told what to buy. They told you who to love, they told you who to hate, they'll tell you when it's time to die. They told you who to fight, they told you when to kill. They told you not to cry, they told you to take your pill. They told you what to feel, they taught you how to lie. they taught you how to cheat, taught you how to steal, they taught you not to blink an eye.

Reality Show 04:12
The world is in crisis, our nation's in pain. Our leaders corrupted, our wallets are drained. It's so overwhelming to know where to start, I'd like to help out, but I don't have the heart. There's all kinds of pressure to pay all the bills. I try to keep up but it's hard without the pills. I need a reminder to forget what I know. A cozy recliner and a reality show. Well the wars are all over, the newspapers say, but people keep dying on my T.V every day. The planet is in hunger, despair and decay. I'm gonna save the world for just a dollar a day. But when the day's over and I'm tight in my chair, I turn the T.V on and disappear on the air. I fade under pressure by remote control, and tune in to my favorite reality T.V show. My malleable membrane is feeding on trash, while somebody else is turning garbage into cash. These digital pixels are eating my brain, this information overload is making me insane. Reality bites and the truth is unkind, but you can make it disappear inside of your mind. Just turn on the T.V and forget what you know, and tune into your favorite reality T.V show

about

Faint Signal Cincinnati, Ohio

Faint Signal began in 2011 as a result of a craigslist post when Henri Eisenbaum replied to Randy Campbell's post asking "Is Prog Rock dead in Cincinnati?" Both multi-instrumentalists, they clicked immediately and began the quest of re-igniting the Prog Rock flames to become the only original Prog Rock band in Cincinnati Ohio ... more
